Yearbook is an organization with the purpose of creating a yearbook for students at Graham High School and to raise money for the school to provide for students and teachers. Attendees in the yearbook take pictures of players and organizations to add to the yearbook. Sponsored by the school by providing cameras, the class is led and conducted by Mrs.Shook. Yearbook is involved in almost every sport or club there is and is able to include pictures from the D&D club to Graham Steers Football. Each week students participating in yearbook take out a camera and take pictures in order to spread out work and ensure that the moments that are easily missed are caught on camera and available for the students of Graham High School. Cameron McBride, a Senior in the yearbook organization, says, “This 23-24 school year will have the best yearbook as we are doing a Spotify wrapped theme.”
When asked if he is excited about the new yearbook, Cameron claims “Joining this class of 23-24 will be exciting and we will be working hard in class to provide an excellent yearbook.” Every year there is a different theme for the yearbook, voted by the students creating it. If interested in the class, it is not too late to join as long as approved by Mr. Gordy. Contact your counselor and Mrs.Shook to be informed more about the class, as well as to give a heads up you are planning on joining the yearbook. Yearbook is a fun mix of creating covers and pages as well as showing your creativity to sell to possibly hundreds of students attending Graham High School. Support your school by buying a yearbook and/or help create a yearbook by joining the organization…or do both!
