The Rangers after winning the World Series!
The Texas Rangers won their first-ever World Series on November 1, 2023. After a devastating preseason with over 90 losses, the Rangers were not looking too good. In the playoffs, The Rangers went on an 11-0 win streak. This is a record that will most likely never be matched. With a disappointing preseason, the Ranger’s hopes weren’t very confident going into their first game of the tournament. They beat a 99-win team and two division champions to get to the World Series. In the World Series, they faced the Arizona Diamondbacks which were an 84-win team. The Rangers and Diamondbacks battled for 5 games which ended in a first-time World Series victory for the Rangers. The Rangers winning the World Series was indeed no accident.
