On Wednesday January 31, 2024 at 5:30 the next chapter of Graham High School’s National Honor Society began. NHS is an organization for students who have above a 3.5 GPA. Traditionally at GHS, the inductions are limited to seniors, but this year’s officers were passionate that juniors should be able to be a part of this group. 43 students were inducted this week. The words that represent this group are scholarship, leadership, character, and service. President Lillian Graham welcomed all parents and students. Treasurer, Geurin Pettus led everyone who attended in the pledges and a prayer. One part of this induction included a candle lighting done by social media officer, Ben Lucas with a speech given by secretary, Aiden Adam’s. Abby Helm, the vice president, then led all the inductees in the pledge that committed them.
