The Graham High School Cheerleaders are known for the support and spirit they bring to student events. They go above and beyond to provide hype for pep rallies and the fans in the stands. Sara Peyton Dospapas is the cheer captain of the GHS cheerleading squad. Sara has been cheering since she was 5-years-old and got inspired by watching the cheerleaders on the sidelines. She knew she wanted to go for the captain position during her sophomore year on varsity when she realized the squad’s potential and wanted to help in every way to be the best they could be. Sara Peyton says, “My mom inspires me to be determined, hardworking, but most importantly a kind leader.” As cheer captain, she wants to change the program’s discipline and make it known as a sport rather than a club. Sara wants the cheerleaders to be proud of what they put on the mat and field. She sees how hard they work, and wants to use that to the best of their abilities.
