The 2024 homecoming winners of Graham High School are Camden Thorne and Brayden Riggins!
Camden Thorne was walked out by her little brother Jot Thorne, when they announced the homecoming nominees. Jot Thorne is a freshman at GHS and plays for the freshman football team. Camden says that it is an honor to be homecoming queen and that she is very grateful for it. She said, “It made me realize the impact that I have on people at the school. I appreciate the community and everyone that supported me.”
Camden is involved in volleyball, soccer, and cheer. One thing Camden likes about GHS is the teachers, and the dynamic of the school. She also likes the classes that she has had an opportunity to take in the last four years. Camden’s favorite memory from Graham High School is getting to play sports with all of her close friends, as well as getting nominated as homecoming queen.
After high school, Camden is looking forward to studying pre-med at the University of Arkansas. She said, “I am excited to go to college and start a new chapter in my life. I am looking forward to making new friends and being in a new environment.” The thing that Camden is going to miss the most about high school are the close relationships that she had with her teachers, coaches, and friends.
The homecoming king for GHS was Brayden Riggins! Brayden is on the varsity football team and he plays wide receiver. He is also involved in NHS (National Honor Society) and FCA (Fellow Christian Athletes).
Brayden’s favorite thing about Graham High School has been the memories he’s made with the older classes and the younger classes as well. Brayden said, “I’ve made a lot of great friendships in the past 4 years here at GHS, and that has been my favorite part.” He said, “It’s an awesome feeling knowing that my friends and other members here at GHS like me enough to nominate me for something like this.”
Brayden said, “I will always be so grateful for the memories I have made and are to come throughout this last school year. Winning the homecoming king this year is another add on to the list of great memories with my time at Graham High School.”
