National Championship

The first 12 team version of the College Football Playoff will meet in the national championship. The teams clashing in this epic championship game at Mercedes Benz Stadium In Atlanta will be Notre Dame and the heavily favored Ohio State Buckeyes. Both teams have fought hard and have earned their spot to play in what is hyped up to be one of the greatest college football games in the last century. Ohio State will face a tough fighting Irish defense that is ranked third in all of college football only allowing 14.3 points a game. This defense is ruthless starting with the defensive lineman up front all the way into the secondary that will take your head off. The solid Ohio State  offense will have to prove themselves if they want to return home with the championship trophy. This Ohio offense is loaded with weapons all over the field with three solid receivers and a massive offensive line protecting veteran quarterback Will Howard. Even though Ohio State is favored to win I wouldn’t count the fighting Irish out of this game. Notre Dame has been the underdog all season and have never backed down in a fight. If they pull this off it will go down in the history books as a true Cinderella story for this athletic program. Ohio on the other hand has been in big moments like this and knows how to win in big situations.
