The steers wrapped up their season in the first round of the bi-district game on February 17th, 2025, where they went up against the Lubbock Estacado. This game took place at Abilene Christian University in the Moody Coliseum.
They had a good season this year, with hard-working athletes and great coaches.

Despite the hard-fought season, the Steers went up against a strong team. Before entering this tough game, Lubbock entered with a 27-6 record, while the Steers held a 14-16 record.
The Estacado outscored Graham in each quarter. By half time, Lubbock had built up a lead and continued to progress in the second half. After the game, Lubbock left the court with a win of 75-38. The Steers had come to the end of their season, leaving them with a 14-17 record.
Graham’s top performer in the game were:
- Tyler Allen, who was hard working on the offensive side and worked hard to keep the game competitive
- Cooper Corley, who also contributed significantly, with the second half including a couple of essential baskets.
- Including Bryce Martin, Brodie Martin, and Ty Thompson, who rounded out the effort to the team.

Throughout the 2024-2025 Steers basketball season, they came across challenges but also has remarkable moments. Including the victory against Brownwood on January 31st, 2025, finishing out the game with a score of 67-52.
Looking into the future, the Steers will work towards building on their experience from the past seasons to improve on the next upcoming 2025-2026 season.
Season Reflection
As the Steers wrapped up their journey for the 2024-2025 season, they were presented with valuable lessons and memorable moments. Over the the year, they put out improvement and displayed a good character. They came across challenges but also had remarkable moments. Including the victory against Brownwood on January 31st, 2025, finishing out the game with a score of 67-52.
The Graham Steers had a good run this season. Despite the loss of the Graham Steers, their journey came to an end, allowing the players to participate in a tough but a valuable learning experience.
