Here & Now Boutique, located here in Graham, unfortunately, closed down about a week ago, on August 15, 2025. After spending about 5.5 years running her own business, Sydney Hughes made the tough decision to close her store. Here & Now was known for its cute and trendy clothes. The store also included jewelry, home gifts, and fragrances. They were also inclusive with their staff, hiring high school students. Below, you can read the Facebook post that Sydney Hughes posted for the community, explaining her reasoning for the closure.
“To all my loyal and loving customers and friends. First and foremost I want to thank you all for allowing one of my biggest dreams to come to come true. In 2019 I moved back to my hometown witht the hopes of opening my own boutique on the downtown square. I have spent the 5.5 years of life pouringmy entire heart into this dream. Many moves, remodels, and changes later, I have found myself stepping into a new chapter of life.
My husband and I will be welcoming our daughter in October, and I know it’s time to put my full focus this next season of life that we have been praying & waiting for. With that, Here & Now will be officially closing the doors of the shop at the end of August. This has not been an easy decision whatsoever, but I know it is right and it is time. I will never be able to fully express my gratitude for all the relationships and memories I have made thanks to you all. This is definitely a bittersweet decision, and I know I will miss the daily interactions at the shop with you all! It will be an adjustment but I am ready and excited for what is ahead!
Be on the lookout for our closing markdowns, followed by a fixture sale after we clear out the shop. We will also share official dates of closure when the fixture sale will begin based on how fast inventory goes. Please note that gift cards are non-refundable and need to be used before then!
My love and thanks to you all, Sydney Hughes.”
Sydney, if you read this, we will miss Here and Now. Thank you for enriching our community for all of these years.
