“I would describe it as an inviting space that always tries to keep inventory fresh and different.” says Sydney Hughes, the owner of Here&Now, “Living in a small town, I often hear customers say they don’t want the same things as everyone else in town, so I try to keep it minimum and unique with everything we put into the store.” Hughes started Here&Now three years ago. Its first location was in the front room of Honor Yoga Studio then moved to 431 Oak Street before settling on the square for the past two years. 

Hughes has always been passionate about owning a business, “I have wanted to be a business owner since high school! When I was younger, I fell in love with the local shops on the square and enjoyed the options I had available to me in graham. The idea of creating a space that would fulfill a shopping need for people in my community seemed extremely appealing to me. I held on to that dream throughout college and into my career post-grad & eventually went for it!” 

Here&Now excels at having clothes, accessories, and gifts for every occasion. They make sure to have Game Day attire and accessories for Graham students, parents, and supporters. When the major holidays roll around, Here&Now is always decked out and ready. They make sure to have items like gifts and outfits for Christmas, Halloween, Fourth of July, Easter, Valentine’s Day, and more. Here&Now even does Black Friday deals where they had discounts and activities hourly from 10am to 6pm.

One of the best things about Graham is the customers, “My favorite part of owning a business in Graham is the customer base we have that! There’s a unique kind of loyalty to local customers, and even some of our online customers are Graham natives who don’t live here anymore! There is something about Graham that makes people loyal to their core.” Hughes said. 

Here & Now is open from 10am-6pm Monday-Friday and 10am-3pm Saturday at 515 Elm St. Graham, Tx.
