Movie Review

Chronicles Involves three friends that gain telekinesis in a crashed alien pod. They become super powerful. It is a found footage film meaning it is filmed by the character using a camera from their point of view, which adds to realism and intensity. The special effects are mind boggling, and the story keeps you on edge the whole time. The special effects workers did an amazing job at making the powers realistic and it was really cool to see different effect comparing greatly to marvels effect crew. Their telekenitic powers allow them to control things with their minds and a very interesting part was that they were able to train and become stronger overtime with their abilities. The change in the characters is crazy and the actors performances are top notch. This is one of my favorite movies to watch and it is even able to rewatch as there are so many things that you might have missed in the movie. As a superhero fan myself it is amazing to see one of them corrupted by the powers and a huge plot twist at the end as they are all connected. Micheal B. Jordan is also in the movie so many die-hard fans wanting to see a movie with him in prestige acting may want to grab some popcorn and watch fly through the air using his abilities to soar. As three friends make their journey they keep progressing in their telekinesis and connecting with each other. Not only do they develop by themselves but are all somehow connected through their powers which is scary when they feel a loss of a member. Which changes up the whole plot of the movie as one of the friends goes crazy and a thrilling cop chase ensues whilst the friend tries to control him.
