After a week full of dress-up days, pep rallies, and outfit planning, HOCO 2025 finally arrived. This past Saturday, October 18th, GHS held the Homecoming dance. The theme this year was “Lights, Camera, Action.” Throughout the week, students dressed up in fun themes leading up to the game on Friday night. Friday night, Steers took a victory against Bridgeport. The GHS Student Council helped bring this theme to our cafeteria through colored lights, movie-inspired decorations, and many other fun elements. Tickets were $5 to get into the dance. The dance was filled with music, dancing, different outfits, and lots of fun! For some, this was their first hoco; for others, it was their last. Stuco wanted to make this a special experience for all students. This year is only the 2nd time GHS has held a formal homecoming dance, so many students showed up. Students created lots of memories, took pictures, and danced the night away! A big thank you to the teachers and students who played a significant role in helping make this dance happen and ensuring it went smoothly!
