This past Saturday, the annual Crawfish and Cannons event took place at Fort Belknap. Crawfish and Cannons draws crowds for a full day of food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities.
This event featured a live crawfish boil where attendees could enjoy fresh crawfish along with other food and drinks. Throughout the day, cannons were fired on the hour, reflecting the unique history of the event. In addition to the food and cannons, the festival included a variety of activities for all ages. There were children’s activities, and vendor stands set up around the location. They helped create a lovely and welcoming atmosphere for families and visitors.
Live music was a major part of the event; artists like Pat Green and John Baumann entertained the crowd throughout the day.
Another highlight of the day was the Goodnight-Loving Run, which includes a 5k, 10k, and half-marathon. The race took place earlier in the morning, giving a fun experience for runners.
