With the 2026 Winter Olympics coming to a close on Sunday February 22nd, the final medal count for the Olympics is in.
Norway had the most medals with 41 total medals collected with 18 gold, 12 silver, and 11 bronze medals. Norway earned gold in Cross-country skiing, Biathlon, Nordic combined, Ski jumping, Freestyle skiing, and Speed skating.
The United States came in second with a total medal count coming to 33. The USA earned 12 gold medals, 12 silver, and 9 bronze medals. The USA earned gold in Freestyle skiing, Speed skating, Alpine skiing, Figure skating, Ice hockey, and Bobsleigh.
The Netherlands came in third in terms of overall medal counting being 20. The Netherlands earned multiple gold in both Speed Skating and Short Track.
